TCG Nusret Museum Ship was opened to visitors in Kyrenia.

Visitors visiting the TCG Nusret Museum Ship anchored in Kyrenia Port were informed about the Çanakkale Naval Battles, the original construction process of the ship and the role it played at that time.

Miniatures inside the ship depicting the Battle of Gallipoli and short documentaries shown on television were presented to the attention of visitors. A band show was also performed in front of the museum ship, which gives its visitors moments full of history.

Primary school student Ayaz Zebzeci, who visited the ship, told the history of the Nusret Mine Ship and said that his visit was fun.

Stating that they brought his son to show the ship around, father Ali Zebzeci emphasized that it was lucky for them that the ship came to TRNC and said, “We are very happy to visit the museum version of a ship that plays a historical role.” said.

Mother Gücem Zebzeci stated that her son Ayaz came to show the ship due to his interest in history, and that they visited the TCG Nusret Museum Ship to see the history live. Zebzeci also thanked the authorities who provided this opportunity.
Retired soldier Yenal Orak, who visited the ship, expressed his happiness in visiting a ship that reflects ancient Turkish history and said, “We witnessed history with this visit. “History came alive before our eyes.” he said.

TCG Nusret Museum Ship was designed and put into service in 2011 in order to keep alive the memory of the Nusret Mine Ship, one of the important elements of the Çanakkale Naval War.
