The 1974 graduates of Nicosia Turkish Girls’ High School (LTKL) celebrated their 50th graduation anniversary with the event.

Almost all of the 1974 graduates came together at the event held at SKY Roof Hotel.

The meeting of friends who had not seen each other for many years, even since graduation, created emotional and exciting moments.

In his speech, İnce Tüccaroğlu, one of the organizers of the event, stated that he was very happy to be able to organize such a meeting and said, “50 years ago, we were together as young girls trying to shape our future under the roof of the school, but today, as mature young girls who are approaching 70, 50 years later, that is, half a century later, “I am excited and happy to be together again,” he said.

At the event, a roll call was made by reading the names of the 1974 graduates one by one, and those who were late were sent to the administration. At the meeting, where many school memories were discussed, there were also graduates who took the stage and sang.

After the dinner accompanied by music, the 1974 graduates sang together with enthusiasm the LTKL anthem prepared for the day by music teacher Yıldan Birand, accompanied by cinevision.

The event ended with the reading of Turkish teacher Suna Aytaçoğlu’s message to her students, with wishes to meet again as soon as possible after a pleasant, enthusiastic, singing and fun day.
