Budget discussions will continue on Thursday, November 21, with the budgets of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, institutions and organizations affiliated to the Ministry, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

The 2025 Fiscal Year Central State Administration Budget Draft foresees an appropriation of 136 billion 280 million TL for the services and activities of the TRNC between January 1 and December 31, 2025.

The Draft, which will be discussed in the committee tomorrow, includes 86 billion 84 million TL local revenue for the financing of the budget; 9 billion 452 million 570 thousand TL Price Stabilization Fund income; 950 million TL other fund income; 55 million TL revolving fund income, 3 billion 620 million 430 thousand TL special incomes; A total of 14 billion 500 million TL Turkish aid and 4 billion TL Turkish loan, including 8 billion 500 million TL TRNC investments and 6 billion TL GKK and Civil Defense Organization expenses; A total income of 136 billion 280 TL is envisaged, including 17 billion 618 million TL of internal resources.

It is stated that the difference in income and expenditure in the budget will be covered by financial measures to be taken during the year.

The 2024 budget was approved by the Parliament as 78 billion 717 million TL. Accordingly, the 2025 budget includes a 73.12 percent increase compared to 2024.
