The 41st anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was celebrated with a reception held at the TRNC Brussels Representation in Belgium.
At the invitation held at the TRNC Brussels Representative residence, TRNC Brussels Representative Ambassador Ayda Soylu and her husband Süleyman Soylu accepted the congratulations.
Turkey’s Ambassador to Brussels Bekir Uysal, Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the European Union Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Turkey’s Permanent Representative to NATO Ambassador Levent Gümrükçü and Antwerp Consul General İsmail Sefa Yüceer, as well as many diplomats and civil society representatives attended the reception.
The anniversary invitation of TRNC was also attended by Lieutenant General Kemal Turan, Chairman of NATO Turkish Military Representation Delegation (TMR), Rear Admiral İsmail Güldoğan, Chairman of NATO National Military Representation Delegation (NMR), Brigadier General Eray Üngüder, Deputy Director of Partnerships at NATO Military Headquarters, Supreme Allied Command Cyberspace. Operations Center Director Ümit Ersoy and Military Attaché Staff Colonel Çağrı Sağıroğlu also attended with their spouses.
