The Economy, Finance, Budget and Planning Committee of the Assembly of the Republic accepted the budget of the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, worth 1 billion 936 million 92 thousand TL, by majority vote.

At the committee meeting chaired by UBP Famagusta Deputy Resimye Eroğlu Canaltay, before the budget was voted, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu left the budget discussions due to his work, while Undersecretary Serhan Aktunç answered the questions of the MPs on the budget.

CTP Lefke Deputy Salahi Şahiner evaluated the Ministry’s budget item by item and asked questions about some items.

The committee then began discussing the Ombudsman’s budget.
