The Republic Assembly’s Economy, Finance, Budget and Planning Committee approved the budgets of the Religious Affairs Department under the Prime Ministry, the Broadcasting High Council and the Personal Data Protection Board.

In the Economy, Finance, Budget and Planning Committee of the Assembly of the Republic, the budget of the Religious Affairs Department of 571 million 359 thousand TL was accepted by majority vote after the Cyprus Foundations Administration.

Then, the budget of the High Council of Broadcasting (YYK) of 20 million 638 thousand TL was discussed.

Speaking on the YYK budget, CTP Deputy Salahi Şahiner asked about the investments planned to be made last year.

YYK President Feyzi Hansel stated that the investments planned to be made last year could not be made and explained the reasons, and said that they aimed to make the necessary technological infrastructure investment this year.

The budget of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, which was on today’s agenda of the Republic Assembly Economy, Finance, Budget and Planning Committee, was postponed until after the General Assembly meeting on Monday.
