The government is implementing comprehensive support packages for the public and private sectors in order to alleviate economic difficulties and ensure the survival of businesses. This new premium support package, which will offer significant advantages to small tradesmen and employers, as well as agriculture, animal husbandry, manufacturing industry, construction, hotel management and trade sectors, will also provide coverage to workplaces with up to 10 employees in total.

The full statement made by the Prime Ministry is as follows:

‘Our government is implementing serious support packages for both our public employees and our private sector, acting with an understanding that covers all segments so that the current economic difficulties do not affect the purchasing power of our people, the level of welfare is maintained, and businesses survive.

Based on this idea, our council of ministers made the decision to launch extremely comprehensive new support packages for the private sector.

The comprehensive premium support package will provide premium support to the investments of our small tradesmen and private sector employees as well as the investments of our employers with up to 10 employees, including themselves.

According to this;

– 25% of the social insurance employer contribution in the agriculture, animal husbandry, tradesmen, manufacturing industry, construction, hotel management and trade sectors will be covered by the state.

– In addition, for small tradesmen, 25% of their employer investments in workplaces with up to 10 employees, including themselves, will be covered by the state.

THE SECTORS, 25 PERCENT OF WHICH WILL BE COVERED BY THE STATE BY SOCIAL INSURANCE, ARE AS FOLLOWS;

Employers of workplaces with up to 10 employees, All Sectors Dealing with Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, Fishing, Hotel Management, Manufacturing Industry, Construction and Trade

SECTORS THAT CANNOT BENEFIT FROM PREMIUM SUPPORT ARE AS FOLLOWS:

-Independent Organizations Operating According to Their Own Special Laws from the State Budget and Other Public Institutions and Organizations, Autonomous or Added Budgets and Revolving Fund Workplaces, Foreign State-Owned Public Institutions and Organizations, Organizations in which the State Has at least 10% Share, State-Managed and Institutions under Control: Markets, Off License, Market Suppliers, Pharmacies, Pharmaceutical Warehouses, Medical Dealers, Gas Stations, Gas Dealers, Accountants, Banks, Insurance Companies, Exchange Offices, Finance Companies, Bet Offices, Casinos, Night Clubs, Nurseries, Kindergartens, Primary Education and Secondary Education Institutions, Universities, Laboratories, Hospitals, Clinics, Veterinary Clinics, GSM Operators, Internet Providers, Cooperatives and Their Affiliated Enterprises, Non-Governmental Organizations Operating in the Field of Social Services in TRNC and Serving the TRNC State in this Field.’
