The second phase of the Turkish Cypriot State Theaters building, affiliated with the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, was completed and delivered by the relevant company.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu said that art lovers have been waiting for the State Theaters building for many years and their goal is to open the building on March 27, World Theater Day.

Emphasizing that they showed the same courage for the State Theaters building as they did for the Kyrenia Ancient Marina, Ataoğlu stated that in the third and last phase of the Theaters building, they will supply technical materials such as interior decoration, lighting and stage and make the building ready.

Stating that they are doing their part to transfer culture and art to future generations and to bring them together with all segments of society, Ataoğlu pointed out the importance of art and artists meeting with society and that theater makes a great contribution to human and social life.

Ataoğlu stated that they wish to have a contemporary theater building worthy of the people and artists of the country, to open the curtain in a short time, and to bring together the audience with art and artists.

Thanking the company that carried out the tender, Ataoğlu stated that the construction period was carried out quickly and in harmony, and thanked the contractor company and the Ministry and department staff who contributed.
