Tatar said, “TRNC is one of the two states in Cyprus, there are two states in Cyprus. There are two peoples. Looking at the facts, TRNC is the expression of the independence and freedom of the Turkish Cypriots. Therefore, the world public opinion is slowly starting to understand that there will be no turning back from this.” he said.

Referring to the energy problem of TRNC, Tatar pointed out that he brought this issue to the agenda with the European Union (EU) and Southern Cyprus.

Tatar pointed out that they hope that this problem will be resolved through dialogue, which may pave the way for opportunities for the TRNC and the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus to act together in different projects.
