President of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre opened the Cyprus House in Ankara’s Kalecik District.

Cyprus veterans also attended the opening ceremony of the Cyprus House, which is the first of the houses that will reflect the cultures of the countries of the Turkish World.

In his speech at the opening, President Töre stated that it is not right to describe the Cyprus case as only the case of the Turkish Cypriots, because there is the blood and lives of the Turkish soldiers, mujahideen and resisting people in those lands.
Töre said: “We are one, we are together and together we are the Turkish Nation” and stated that they will never compromise on the Turkish nation.

Expressing that they were very pleased with the opening of the house reflecting the Cypriot culture in Ankara’s Kalecik district, Töre congratulated everyone who contributed.
After the speeches, the Cyprus House was opened by President Töre.

VISIT TO AKYURT MUNICIPALITY
At the end of his ceremonial contacts, he visited Akyurt Municipality and met with Mayor Hilal Ayık.
In his speech during the visit, Töre said that he always wanted to visit Akyurt Municipality and that Mayor Ayık had accomplished very good works within the district borders.
Thanking for the invitation, Töre stated that every part of the Motherland is valuable and meaningful to them.
Having completed his contacts in Ankara, President Töre is returning to TRNC this evening.
