The Turkish Ministry of National Defense issued a commemoration message for Pilot Captain Cengiz Topel, whose plane was shot down by the Greeks during the warning flight organized by the Turkish Air Force in Cyprus in 1964 and who was taken prisoner by Greek soldiers after parachuting and was martyred.
