During the meeting, Tüz also made evaluations about the transition to 4.5G.

Stating that according to the tender specifications, a transition to 4.5G is envisaged within a period of 10 months from the tender date, Sefer Tüz emphasized that, as Telsim, they made the investments quickly and that they were ready for the transition to 4.5G on July 31, much earlier than expected. .

Noting that they care about this process as Vodafone, Tuz said that all tests were completed successfully as of July 31st. Tüz said, “As a tax record holder operator, we are ready as of July 31st. We made a request from the relevant ministry to be able to switch to 4.5G without waiting for October 28, and we are waiting for a response. We aim to make use of this modern technology by all people living in the TRNC without further delay.”

Sefer Tüz also noted that during the transition period with 4.5G, they made a 50 percent discount on customer tariff fees for September.
