UBP Youth Branch gathered in Sarayönü this evening to protest the attitude of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) in the General Assembly of the Republic Assembly, and then marched to the Assembly of the Republic.

UBP Youth Branch members, who marched to the Parliament chanting slogans against Doğuş Derya, made a press statement in front of the Republic Assembly.

Famagusta Youth Branch President Derviş Bayraktar stated in his statement that they, together with the youth branch presidents of six districts, are here to protect the government and MPs and because of the unpleasant incident that took place in the parliament today.

Noting that they condemned the action against Parliament Speaker Ziya Öztürkler, Bayraktar called on CTP Deputy Doğuş Derya to resign.
