9 Eylül Primary School is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
As part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of 9 Eylül Primary School, teachers and students gathered at the Kyrenia Gate this morning and presented a wreath to the Atatürk Monument.
According to the information provided by School Principal Elçin Altan, the event was opened with Altan’s speech here.
Following the speech of Nicosia Turkish Municipality Mayor Mehmet Harmancı, the school anthem was played and the “We Have Been Building the Future for 25 Years” banner was opened by the teachers.
At the event, which also included cycling, “25. Scarves with the “Year” logo were worn. The drive was made on the route of Dereboyu Street, Prime Ministry lights, Ortaköy direction and 9 Eylül Primary School from Ortaköy lights.
With the support of the Turkish Cypriot Bicycle Federation and the TRNC Bicycle Lovers Association, the President of the NTM, school staff, graduates, teachers who worked at the school, parents and students accompanied by parents and volunteers participated in the ride.
A musical concert was performed and refreshments were served to the participants who went to 9 Eylül Primary School on bicycles.
Altan noted that the 25th anniversary events will continue.
