President Ersin Tatar said, “The development of diplomatic, economic and political relations between Kyrgyzstan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will please us.” he said.

Tatar visited Kyrgyzstan-Türkiye Manas University with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Speaking at the program held at KTMU’s Congress Center, Tatar said, “We will be pleased with the development of diplomatic, economic and political relations between Kyrgyzstan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.” he said.

Tatar reminded that he was given an honorary doctorate at KTMU during his visit to Kyrgyzstan in December 2023 and said, “Our hearts have always been with you since that day. “I would like to state that I attach great importance to your support for the promotion of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus,” he said.

Expressing his satisfaction at being invited to the university, Tatar also addressed President Erdoğan and said, “I would like to thank our esteemed President once again, in the presence of all of you, for the support he has always given to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.” he said.

President Tatar noted that he was pleased to observe that the relations between Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Türkiye are developing more and more.
