President of the Assembly of the Republic, Ziya Öztürkler, participated in the 50+1 program broadcast on BRT and made evaluations.

Stating that he has never been in love with a seat or position, Öztürkler stated that he did not aspire to positions in his political past and that he did not apply for the position of President of the Parliament, and explained the process.

Emphasizing that being the Speaker of the Assembly is an honorable duty, Öztürkler noted that he is the youngest Speaker of the Assembly in political history.

Öztürkler said, “Hopefully, we will carry out the legislative and auditing activities of the parliament without making a mistake, without humiliating our state, without humiliating our society, and by acting equally. “We will bring the Parliament to a point where it is free from previous negative actions and has a better reputation.” he said.

Öztürkler, underlining that the process was passed with maturity thanks to the astute stance of Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, noted that the UBP restored its unity and solidarity at the UBP Group meeting in the Parliament and said, “My expectation is that the UBP will touch the society from now on.”
