Images of the recent test firing of the Bayraktar Akıncı drone equipped with Roketsan’s Teber-83 guidance kit have been shared via Baykar’s official X account. This marks a significant milestone as the Akıncı successfully completed its inaugural test with the Teber-83.
Haluk Görgün, President of the Presidential Defense Industry, praised the test, highlighting the Akıncı’s destructive capabilities. He underscored the importance of this achievement, referring to it as a demonstration of "the powerful power of striking" and commended the efforts of Baykar and Roketsan in leading this technological advancement.
Görgün noted that this success reiterates the strategic vision of national technology and high-tech engineering, stating, “High technology, full hit, indigenous mind. Congratulations to Baykar and Roketsan for their commitment to excellence.”

The Bayraktar Akıncı drone, which achieved a remarkable 100,000 flight hours milestone in March, is currently undergoing a successful integration process for national ammunition. To date, the drone has tested a variety of munitions, including:
