Beaches Filled as Turks Enjoy Sunny Weather
The sunny weather in Istanbul attracted many people to the parks and beaches
As the sun shone brightly in Istanbul, many residents took advantage of the beautiful weather by heading to the parks and beaches. With some schools closed for holidays, families made the most of their time by enjoying the outdoors with their children.
At Küçükçekmece canary beach, some people chose to have picnics, while others strolled along the sea and basked in the warm weather. Derya Demir, who was picnicking with his family, expressed their joy by saying, “We recommend it to everyone. We are very happy to be here enjoying the moment.”
“Is this weather normal for this season?” questioned Mukaddes Akıncı, who was taking a walk with his grandchildren from Gaziantep. “While we are happy to have sunshine, we are also a bit concerned. We would have liked to see some snow instead of this unusual weather.”
Hayrettin Başar, who visited with his family, remarked on the pleasant weather by saying, “The spring air is beautiful. It’s nice to have this weather, but it’s strange for winter. Winter should feel like winter, and summer should feel like summer. Despite that, we are enjoying our time here with my family.”
