Belgian Three Corners Hotel Chain Opens 5th Location in Budapest: Exclusive Photos
The newest addition to Budapest’s hospitality scene, the four-star Three Corners Avenue Hotel, officially opened its doors on October 3rd. This new property, the fifth of the Belgian Three Corners hotel chain in the city, has been welcoming guests since the summer in the Broadway district of Pest.
Situated at the intersection of Nagymező Street and Paulay Ede Street, the hotel seamlessly blends Budapest’s rich historical heritage with modern luxury. The building, dating back to 1886, has a colorful past, serving as a hotel in the 1920s, a wine house, and even office space at one point.
During the grand opening, Didier Lambrecht, General Manager of Three Corners Hotels & Resorts, highlighted the careful balance between old and new in the hotel’s design. The event was attended by notable guests such as Belgium’s Ambassador to Hungary and the President of the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ).
The newly constructed floors of the Three Corners Avenue Hotel provide a total of 64 guest rooms, along with an exclusive meeting room, a catering unit, and a cozy sauna. The interior design by Csilla Kelemen combines timeless elegance with comfort, creating a unique ambiance for guests.
Furthermore, the hotel has also become a hotspot in the theatre district, with the on-site Mabelle Café offering a fusion of Hungarian and Belgian flavors. The café’s philosophy revolves around combining the best of both worlds, reflected in its menu featuring Belgian beers, Hungarian wines, handcrafted Belgian pralines, Belgian cheeses, and Hungarian ham.
The Three Corners Avenue Hotel is dedicated to sustainability, catering to the needs of eco-conscious guests with initiatives like free filtered water in rooms and water stations on-site. Three Corners Hotels & Resorts operates properties in Egypt’s Red Sea coast and Budapest, with a portfolio of 12 hotels and over 2,500 rooms in total.
With its rich history, modern amenities, and commitment to sustainability, the Three Corners Avenue Hotel offers a unique and luxurious experience right in the heart of vibrant Budapest.
