Astana – Bibisara Assaubayeva, a talented chess player from Kazakhstan, has recently achieved remarkable success at the FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships 2024. The Kazakhstan Chess Federation announced on August 8th that Assaubayeva clinched a silver medal in the Rapid category and a bronze medal in Blitz.
One of the highlights of Assaubayeva’s performance was her victory over the reigning World Chess Champion Ju Wenjun in the ninth round of Rapid.
