President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Attends Science Dissemination Awards Ceremony
At the Atatürk Cultural Center, the third Science Dissemination Awards ceremony was held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş, and many other important figures from the world of politics, art, academia, and media. The event was organized to honor and acknowledge the valuable scientists who work tirelessly in the field of science.
Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Science Dissemination Foundation, spoke about the purpose of the Science Dissemination Awards, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and appreciating the efforts of scientists. He highlighted the significance of science in serving humanity and shaping the future. Erdoğan also addressed the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, condemning the destruction of values and the infliction of suffering on innocent civilians.
During the ceremony, special recognition was given to Professor Doctor Aziz Sancar, with TÜBİTAK President Professor Doctor Hasan Mandal receiving the award on his behalf. The event aimed to promote the love of science and to advance the level of scientific research in Turkey.
