Bilal Erdoğan Optimistic About Turkey’s Future at ICYF Panel in London
Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation, recently emphasized the importance of traditional sports in transferring culture to future generations. Speaking at a panel in London, he stated that traditional sports and games are essential cultural elements that attract great interest.
The panel, titled “Youth Responses to Global Problems: Opportunities and Challenges,” was organized in partnership with the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and the World Ethnosport Confederation. The event was attended by many Turkish and foreign guests, as well as prominent figures such as Turkey’s Ambassador to London Osman Koray Ertaş and ICYF President Taha Ayhan.
During the panel, ICYF President Ayhan highlighted the organization’s efforts in serving the youth of 56 member countries and introduced Bilal Erdoğan to deliver his speech. Erdoğan focused on the significance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations through traditional sports, noting that these sports can serve as an effective method in this process.
