
Body of missing person found in Denizli forest

The lifeless body of 37-year-old Süleyman Özsoydan was tragically discovered in Bağbaşı District after a search conducted with a drone in Seyir Tepesi location. Özsoydan, who worked as a teller at an institution in Serinhisar, had gone for a walk in the forest area on Saturday evening, February 24, but was reported missing when he did not return home.
After Özsoydan’s traces were detected during the drone scan, his body was found at the bottom of the rocks, approximately 40 meters high. It took the teams about an hour to retrieve his body from the area, and it was then transferred to the morgue of Pamukkale University Hospital for an autopsy.
The search operation, which included the use of thermal drones and tracking dogs, began on Sunday and continued until Özsoydan’s body was found. The community is mourning the loss of Özsoydan, and authorities are working to determine the cause of his tragic death. May he rest in peace.
