
Bolu Worker-Contractor Conflict Leaves Many Injured

A violent altercation broke out at a school construction site in Sümer Neighborhood, Bolu, on Cumhuriyet Street. The dispute began when workers claimed they had not been paid by the contractor and his group. The argument quickly turned physical, with workers throwing stones and using sticks as weapons. Shockingly, one worker even fired a gun, injuring Ömer Faruk A. (23) in the right arm.
Emergency health and police teams rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the incident. Ömer Faruk A. was promptly taken to İzzet Baysal State Hospital Köroğlu Unit Emergency Service for treatment. Additionally, five other individuals who sustained injuries from the violent altercation were also hospitalized.
Following the incident, approximately 20 people involved in the fight were apprehended by police. The skirmish was captured on camera, and authorities have launched an investigation into the matter to determine the cause and hold those responsible accountable.
