Border Czar Detains 308 Illegal Immigrants in One Day, Trump Administration Reports
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement Administration (ICE) has created a list of illegal immigrants who pose a threat to public safety, as reported by the New York Post. According to Acting ICE Director, Thomas Homan, officers have already started detaining illegal immigrants who are deemed to be a risk to public safety.
Since President Trump took office, 308 illegal immigrants were detained on the first day, with a total of around 700,000 targeted for deportation. Homan stated that ICE is now focused on fulfilling its mission to remove these individuals from the country.
President Trump has expressed his concern over the issue of irregular immigration and has vowed to declare a National Emergency on the US-Mexico border to address the problem. This move is aimed at preventing illegal immigration and ensuring the deportation of those who are in the country unlawfully.
