BREAKING: New Statement Revealed in Narin Güran Murder Case

The investigation into the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing in the Tavşantepe Neighborhood of the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır on August 21 and whose lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8, is still ongoing by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Hediye Güran, the wife of uncle Fuat Güran, was arrested on September 13 by the criminal judgeship of peace on duty for “destroying criminal evidence” within the scope of the investigation. She was brought to the courthouse after the procedures at the gendarmerie and her questioning at the prosecutor’s office was completed.

Güran was later arrested by the court for “participation in deliberate murder”. In her first statement, Hediye Güran denied having any relationship with Salim Güran and refuted claims of seeing the car belonging to her husband being used by Salim.

When questioned about a 25-second conversation with Salim Güran and unanswered calls, Hediye Güran stated that she had no recollection of these interactions and denied any involvement in the murder. She also mentioned changing her phone after the incident and handing over her old phone to the authorities.

Hediye Güran maintained her innocence, stating, “I did not see, I did not hear, I don’t know. I have no connection to the incident and do not accept the accusations against me.” The investigation continues as more details emerge in the case of Narin Güran’s tragic murder.
