A devastating accident took place in China as an empty container ship traveling from Foshan city to Guangzhou’s southern region crashed into the Lixinsha Bridge. Chinese state media reported that the toll of the accident has risen to 5, with the bus driver, motorcycle driver, and 3 individuals in a minibus losing their lives in the tragic incident.
The collision, which occurred around 05:30 local time, resulted in a section of the bridge collapsing and two vehicles plunging into the water, while three vehicles fell onto the ship.
