Turkmenistan and China Discuss Peacebuilding Efforts in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan recently hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Akhmed Gurbanov and Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China for Afghanistan, Yue Xiaoyong. The main topic of discussion was the agenda for the upcoming 5th meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Gurbanov emphasized Turkmenistan’s commitment to participating in multilateral international platforms to promote peacebuilding in Afghanistan.
