BRTK Announces New Appointments to Media Ethics Board
The Media Ethics Board has announced new job appointments, with Lawyer Melis Türkkal and journalist Damla Soyalp joining the Board. Türkkal will be representing the Turkish Cypriot Bar Association, while Soyalp will represent the Turkish Cypriot Journalists Union.
In addition, the Board has confirmed that they will be using their current colored logo for official purposes. They have been actively working on developing ethical principles, and have updated the logo. The new colored logo, prepared by journalist Erten Kasımoğlu, will be utilized moving forward.
