BRTK announces revised telecommunications service fees.
The Council of Ministers has recently approved the “Telecommunications Services Fees and Implementation Regulation” which was published in yesterday’s Official Gazette. The new telecommunications services fees are set to take effect on September 1.
Under the new regulation, the price per minute for calls to landlines (from home to home) will be 0.16 kuruş. Additionally, the price per minute for calls made from home to Turkcell via Telsim will be 0.32 kuruş, and the price per minute for calls made from home to landlines and mobile phones in Turkey will also be 0.32 kuruş.
It is important to note that VAT will be applied on top of all call fees. These new regulations aim to streamline the telecommunications services sector in Turkey and ensure fair pricing for consumers.
