Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation Celebrates 61st Anniversary
Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation, a media outlet that has long been the pride of Turkish Cypriots, is marking its 61st anniversary with a series of events under the theme “We Overcome Obstacles”.
As part of the celebrations, the Bayrak Radio team broadcasted live from the historic Post Office, the place where its voice was first heard. The events also included a concert by ÖZEV’s “Stars Train Children’s Choir and reflections from past and present employees of the corporation.
One of the highlights of the anniversary celebration was the lunch buffet, which was hosted by two retired personnel, Hatice Tunga and Erol Atabek, who had dedicated many years of service to the institution.
The anniversary festivities not only highlighted the rich history of Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation but also showcased the resilience and dedication of its staff members over the years.
