BRTK Hosts Workshop on Journalism Ethics Update
The Media Ethics Committee recently held a workshop focusing on the Principles of Internet Journalism and Journalism Vocational Ethics to address the current needs of the industry. Hosted by the Turkish Cypriot Journalists Association, the ‘Principles Workshop’ brought together academicians and journalists to discuss and exchange ideas.
The workshop aimed to update and revise the existing principles in light of the evolving landscape of the media industry. The results of the workshop discussions will be shared with the public in the coming days. Additionally, media organizations will have the opportunity to endorse and uphold these updated principles by signing on to them.
This initiative by the Media Ethics Committee seeks to promote ethical journalism practices and uphold the standards of internet journalism in today’s digital age.
