Ferenc Liszt International Airport, part of the VINCI Airports network, was awarded the title of the best airport in Eastern Europe by Skytrax for the twelfth year in a row. This recognition is based on passenger feedback and was presented at the Passenger Terminal EXPO.
During the World Airport Awards ceremony in Madrid, Budapest Airport once again received the Skytrax award as the best airport in the region. The award is based on the World Airport Survey questionnaires completed by passengers from over 100 nationalities over an 8-month survey period.
Francois Berisot, the CEO of Budapest Airport, expressed his delight and honor in winning the Skytrax award for the twelfth consecutive year. He emphasized the airport’s commitment to providing high-quality services and facilities to both Hungarian people and visitors. Berisot also mentioned the airport’s plans to expand Terminal 2 and begin construction on Terminal 3.
In addition to the Skytrax award, Budapest Airport has also been recognized with the Airport Service Quality Award for the best European airport with 15-25 million passengers, marking the second consecutive year of receiving this accolade.
Overall, Budapest Airport continues to excel in providing outstanding service and facilities, garnering international recognition and setting a high standard for airports in the region.
