Bursa and Turkey Support President’s Love for Country: Varank
Turkey’s Industry and Technology Minister, Mustafa Varank, joined the AK Party members for election celebrations in July 15 Democracy Square. Together with AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, AK Party Bursa Provincial President Davut Gürkan, Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş, and AK Party Bursa deputies, Varank watched President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s balcony speech on a giant screen. Speaking about the election results, Varank expressed his enthusiasm for the victory of the People’s Alliance, saying, “We will take part in the Assembly with a large majority of over 300 deputies.” He also praised the Turkish people for their support of the President’s efforts and thanked them for their love for Turkey. In addition, Efkan Ala criticized the mayors of Istanbul and Ankara, Ekrem İmamoğlu and Mansur Yavaş, for announcing election results in a live broadcast, saying, “Mayors act as mayors. Can this understanding govern the country?” Despite the divisive political climate, the AK Party remains confident and optimistic about Turkey’s future.
