Çağla Kubat Mourns Father’s Passing
Çağla Kubat, former athlete of the Fenerbahce Sailing Branch, is mourning the loss of her father, Murat Kubat, who passed away at the age of 44. The sad news was shared by Çağla Kubat on her Instagram page, where she posted a series of photos with her father. In a heartfelt message, Kubat expressed her grief and also announced the funeral details for her father.
“Saying goodbye to your superhero is unlike any pain. There are always good memories left to be remembered and a wonderful memory of a father to be thanked for what he has contributed to me at every stage of my life,” Kubat wrote in her emotional tribute to her father.
In her message, she also described her father as always honest, fair, helpful, and someone who brought peace to those around him. She expressed her gratitude for having had a father like him and said, “While I miss you already, it is hard to know that we will meet one day. Rest in peace, my dear father.”
The funeral for Murat Kubat will take place at the Zincirlikuyu cemetery on Saturday, 13.01.2024, after the afternoon prayer at Istanbul Zincirlikuyu Mosque. This news has brought an outpouring of condolences and support from fans and friends of Çağla Kubat during this difficult time.
