Cancer War Heroes: Poster and Slogan Competition Award Ceremony and Exhibition Opening Event at BRTK
The Kemal Saraçoğlu Children with Leukemia and Cancer War Foundation recently held their 22nd Cancer for War Poster and Slogan Competition award ceremony and exhibition opening in İsmet Vehit Güney Exhibition Hall.
The event was attended by Director of the Basic Health Department Vesile Erdoğan Topçoğlu, Culture Department Director Şirin Zaimağaoğlu, students, teachers, parents, competition jury, and officials from the sponsor company Commercial Insurance.
One of the highlights of this year’s competition was the participation of the Children’s Oncology School, with all three students in the primary school section receiving awards in their respective categories.
During her speech at the ceremony, Director Vesile Erdoğan Topçoğlu praised the winning students and emphasized the foundation’s ongoing efforts in the fight against cancer. She highlighted the importance of early diagnosis in cancer treatment and the Ministry of Health’s projects aimed at improving preventive health services for children.
Culture Department Director Şirin Zaimağaoğlu expressed gratitude for the awareness raised by the foundation and encouraged children to explore their creativity through art. The event also saw the presentation of a plaque to the sponsor company Commercial Insurance Damage Manager Ayten Kızıltoprak.
