‘Capturing Northern Cyprus: A Photography Exhibition in Istanbul”
The Prime Ministry is organizing the First Meeting of Cities and Cultures, and as part of this event, the ‘Living Northern Cyprus in Istanbul’ photography exhibition is opening today in Istanbul.
The exhibition features 60 photographs of Cyprus and will be inaugurated by President Ersin Tatar, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, and Vice President of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz.
In addition to the esteemed guests mentioned above, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, and Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı will also be present at the opening ceremony.
Prime Minister Üstel has traveled to Istanbul specifically for this event, while President Tatar, Deputy Prime Minister Ataoğlu, and Minister Arıklı will be departing the island today to join the exhibition in Istanbul.
This cultural event serves as a bridge connecting the two nations and highlighting the shared histories and heritages of Cyprus and Turkey. The exhibition is a celebration of the rich cultural tapestry of Northern Cyprus and its connection to Istanbul, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the region through the lens of talented photographers.
