Car Accident on Cumhuriyet Boulevard Sends Driver to Hospital
An unfortunate accident occurred on Cumhuriyet Boulevard yesterday afternoon at approximately 15:35. The driver, identified as CA (54), lost control of the vehicle with license plate 16 LF 170 while driving from the district center towards the terminal direction. The car first hit the pavement and then collided with the garden wall of a nearby building. The impact was so severe that CA was ejected from the vehicle, landing on the road. Additionally, the car’s engine was forcefully thrown onto the road due to the collision.
Quickly responding to the scene, witnesses called for assistance from the police, fire brigade, and medical team. Other drivers who witnessed the accident immediately rushed to provide aid to the injured. Medical teams administered first aid at the site before transporting CA to Mustafakemalpaşa State Hospital for further treatment. In the meantime, police officers took necessary precautions to ensure the safety of other drivers on the road, as various parts of the damaged vehicle were scattered in the vicinity.
Following examinations at the hospital, it was determined that although CA suffered multiple fractures in the arm, their overall health condition was deemed satisfactory. Eventually, normal traffic flow resumed after the car and its engine, which had been obstructing the road, were successfully removed with the assistance of a tow truck.
An investigation into the cause of the accident has been initiated by the police. Meanwhile, it was revealed that the entire incident was captured on a workplace camera nearby. The footage clearly shows the car spiraling out of control, crashing into the garden wall, and eventually throwing the engine onto the road.
This accident serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining control while driving.
