Car in Motion Catches Fire in Maltepe
Car catches fire while driving in Maltepe, Istanbul
A car with license plate 34 PC 4335 caught fire while driving on Hacıoğlu Street in Maltepe Fındıklı District, Istanbul, on May 8th at around 4 p.m. The driver, who stopped the car, was able to escape unharmed.
Firefighters and police teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. The fire grew quickly and surrounded the front of the car, but was successfully extinguished by the firefighters. Although the car became unusable due to the fire, fortunately, no one was killed or injured in the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and under investigation by authorities. Mobile phone footage captured the moments when the vehicle was engulfed in flames.
It is a stark reminder of the importance of being vigilant while driving and keeping vehicles well-maintained to avoid potentially dangerous situations.
