
Çavuşoğlu announces new special education schools in Nicosia and Famagusta

Famagusta Special Education and Business Education School students recently performed a theater play titled “Latif Bey” under the auspices of the Ministry of National Education. The play, staged by students of the school’s Primary Department, was met with great enthusiasm at the Nicosia Atatürk Cultural Center.
The event was attended by President Ersin Tatar, Minister of National Education Nazim Cavusoglu, school principals, bureaucrats, teachers, parents, and citizens. Minister Cavusoglu commended the students and teachers for their talents and emphasized the importance of providing all children with the necessary skills for life.
During his speech, Minister Cavusoglu highlighted the government’s efforts to strengthen special education, including the construction of a new special education school. He also announced plans to establish new special education schools in Famagusta and Nicosia, as well as the improvement of existing schools in Guzelurt and Girne.
The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to eliminating any shortcomings in special education and providing support to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed. By investing in special education, the government aims to empower students with disabilities and help them lead independent and fulfilling lives.
