Çavuşoğlu meets with Azerbaijani Minister of Science and Education Amrullayev
Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu Visits Azerbaijan for Cooperation Talks
Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu recently visited Azerbaijan to meet with Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev in order to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Çavuşoğlu emphasized the strong relationship between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Azerbaijan, referring to it as “One Nation, Three States.” He expressed his satisfaction with the progress of their relations and expressed hope that his visit would pave the way for new avenues of collaboration.
One key announcement made by Çavuşoğlu was the offer of scholarships to 20 Azerbaijani students who wish to study in the TRNC. This initiative is aimed at fostering educational opportunities and strengthening ties between the two nations.
Both ministers highlighted the positive developments in their relationship and expressed readiness for further cooperation in various fields. Azerbaijani Minister Amrullayev welcomed Çavuşoğlu and his delegation, affirming their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties.
The meeting was attended by Çavuşoğlu’s Private Secretary Kemal Şöföroğlu, as well as officials from the Higher Education and Foreign Relations Department and TRNC Baku Representative Ambassador Ufuk Turganer. Overall, the discussions were seen as a positive step towards deepening collaboration and fostering mutual benefits between Azerbaijan and the TRNC.
