Ceasefire negotiations for Gaza concluded
Hamas Leader Accuses Netanyahu of Sabotaging Ceasefire Efforts
Hamas leader Ismail Haniye has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of making up excuses to sabotage ceasefire efforts in Gaza. Despite this, Haniye emphasized that Hamas remains committed to achieving a comprehensive ceasefire agreement.
Hamas reiterated that any ceasefire offer that does not put an end to Israeli attacks on Gaza will not be accepted. As a result, ceasefire talks have come to a halt, with the Ceasefire Committee planning to return to Qatar for further consultations on the negotiations.
Reports have indicated that CIA Director Burns, who was involved in the negotiations in Cairo, has traveled to Doha, the capital of Qatar, as part of the ceasefire discussions. It is expected that Burns will then head to Israel to continue working towards a ceasefire agreement.
The situation in Gaza remains tense as efforts to reach a ceasefire continue. The international community is closely monitoring the situation and hopes for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
