Arıklı reaffirmed YDP’s belief in the existence of TRNC and rejected past imposed processes like the Annan Plan, emphasizing that federal processes are no longer relevant. He urged President Tatar to avoid negotiations that would lead to federation, highlighting the shared belief in TRNC’s independence.
President Tatar thanked YDP for its support of Cyprus policy and stressed unity in the national cause. He pledged to continue fighting alongside the party and the Motherland for the common goal.
