CEOs from BMW, Vodafone, and Deutsche Telecom Meet with PM Orbán
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán recently met with leaders of the European Round Table for Industry (ERT) at the Carmelite Monastery, as part of the preparations for the Hungarian EU Council Presidency that will begin on July 1st.
During the meeting, the focus was on enhancing the European Union’s global competitiveness, which is a key priority for the Hungarian presidency. Discussions centered around proposals from major industrial players aimed at improving European competitiveness. Prime Minister Orbán highlighted the significant contribution of European industry to the well-being of the continent’s citizens, while also receiving praise for the favorable economic environment in Hungary.
The meeting marks an important step in preparing for Hungary’s upcoming EU Council Presidency, as leaders work towards strengthening European competitiveness and fostering economic growth in the region.
