Certification for Administrative Assistant Training in BRTK Project

The “Will You Be My Assistant?” project, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Turkish Cypriot Entrepreneurial Women Association, recently held a certificate ceremony for the administrative assistant training program. The ceremony took place at the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry, where the participants received their certificates.

Pınar Başman, Vice President of the Entrepreneurial Women Association, emphasized the importance of women being active participants and leaders in the economy, rather than just followers. She also highlighted that women who completed the training will be guaranteed employment and will receive social security support for 60 months.

Minister of Labor and Social Security, Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, revealed that the “Will You Be My Assistant?” project was one of the first protocols he signed upon taking office. He also mentioned that a cooperation protocol will soon be signed with the Chamber of Industry to address the shortage of intermediate staff in the country.

Additionally, it was announced that the Ministry of National Education will provide certified intermediate staff training to 100 young people, with full social security investments being covered by the state for 5 years. The young people will also receive 30 percent salary support for 3 years to encourage their participation in the workforce.

The Minister also indicated plans to encourage women to work in the farming and agriculture sector by signing a protocol with the Ministry of Agriculture. He stressed that the aim is to create opportunities and support for women in various sectors of the economy.

Minister of National Education, Nazım Çavuşoğlu, emphasized the importance of vocational training and certified workforce, stating that the ministry is working diligently to provide professional qualifications and job opportunities for young people.

Overall, the “Will You Be My Assistant?” project and the associated certificates aim to empower women in the workforce and provide young people with valuable training and job opportunities. The government is also making significant efforts to promote gender equality and ensure a more inclusive and successful economy.
