ÇEVREFEST Welcomes Visitors for Another Year
ENVIRONMENTAL FEST Promotes Sustainable Practices and Education
Ministries, municipalities, private sector companies, associations, and universities recently came together for ENVIRONMENTAL FEST, an event with the theme “We All Have a World” held at the Capital National Garden. The participants showcased various projects and initiatives focused on the environment, zero waste practices, and renewable energy at their stands.
One of the main goals of the festival was to change the perception of waste among citizens. By showcasing innovative projects that recycle materials like paper, plastic, and glass bottles, attendees were encouraged to see that not all waste is simply garbage.
A highlight of the event was the deposit return machines installed to recycle packaging boxes. Visitors showed great interest in these machines and were rewarded with a gift for each packaging they deposited. This initiative aimed to promote recycling and proper waste disposal among the public.
Another feature that captured the attention of visitors was the Climate Tunnel. Through videos displayed in the tunnel, attendees were able to witness the consequences of climate change and the harm caused by waste to nature. This interactive experience aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage individuals to take action.
Children also had a special place at the festival, with fun stage shows and workshops organized just for them. These activities aimed to educate and engage young minds in sustainable practices and environmental conservation.
ENVIRONMENTAL FEST proved to be a valuable platform for showcasing sustainable practices, promoting environmental education, and encouraging positive changes in behavior towards the environment. As the event continues to attract visitors and participants, it serves as a reminder that we all have a role to play in protecting our world for future generations.
