Changes to Service and Deposit Fees at KIB-TEK-BRTK
The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced changes to its service fees and deposit fees, which will come into effect tomorrow.
The first installation control fee has been increased to 3,235 TL, while the meter control fee for the second and subsequent checks has been raised to 3,478 TL. The fee for re-utilization of energy after a cut due to consumer fault or defect has also increased from 404 TL to 434 TL.
For buildings or locations within 0-4 kilometers from the Service Center, the fee has been raised to 304 TL, while those more than 4 kilometers away or requiring an underground cable change will now cost 2,173 TL.
In addition, the deposit fee for housing tariffs has been increased from 8,087 TL to 8,693 TL.
These new tariffs aim to reflect the costs and services provided by KIB-TEK more accurately. Customers are advised to take note of these changes and prepare accordingly for any upcoming installations or maintenance work.
