New Year Gifts Presented to Children at “Döwletliler Köşgi” Palace
During the New Year celebrations on January 1, a special ceremony was held at the “Döwletliler Köşgi” Palace in Turkmenistan to present gifts to children. The event, organized on behalf of the President and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, aimed to bring holiday cheer to the young students of the Palace.
The atmosphere at the palace, decorated with a magnificent Christmas tree, was filled with joy and festivity. Children were greeted by popular characters like Ayaz Baba, Garpamyk, and the symbol of the upcoming year 2025—the Snake. The event was attended by representatives from the Mejlis, Halk Maslahaty, ministries, departments, and public organizations.
In Turkmenistan, great efforts are being made to nurture a generation that is well-rounded, physically fit, and spiritually enriched. At the “Döwletliler Köşgi” Palace, children receive education, training, and opportunities to prepare for a successful future. They participate in various activities related to arts, sports, and creative competitions, including winning prestigious awards like the Gulbaba Award with performances by the “Joşgun” dance ensemble.
During the celebration, young talents from Turkmenistan showcased their creativity through a concert program, reciting poems, dancing, and singing in front of the beautifully decorated Christmas tree. To the delight of the children, gifts including interactive learning tools were presented on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhammedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov.
The event ended on a high note, spreading joy and laughter among the children who received these special gifts. This initiative underscores the commitment of Turkmenistan’s leadership to support and nurture the country’s youth, ensuring a brighter future for the next generation.
