CHP Vote End Time and Solidarity Fund Explained
The Republican People’s Party (CHP) is gearing up for the pre-election polls to determine their presidential candidate. The party has decided that on March 23, all citizens, not just party members, will have the opportunity to vote. Non-members will be able to cast their votes in a separate ballot box.
In order to participate in the pre-election process, citizens can visit the “Öncesecim.chp.org.tr” website or use the CHP mobile application to find out their voting locations. A total of 5,600 ballot boxes have been set up in approximately 2,900 election areas for the pre-election polls. The voting will take place on Sunday, March 23, between 08.00-17.00 and the results are set to be announced on the same day, officially revealing the CHP’s presidential candidate.
Additionally, the CHP has announced the creation of a “solidarity fund” for both party members and non-members to contribute to the voting process. This fund aims to support the democratic process within the party.
It has been reported that Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu is the sole candidate for CHP’s presidential candidacy in the pre-election process. However, uncertainties have arisen regarding his candidacy due to his recent detention and the cancellation of his diploma.
As the nation awaits the outcome of the pre-election polls on March 23, all eyes are on the CHP as they prepare to announce their official presidential candidate.
