CHP’s 2023 Election Results: Total MPs and Province-wise Vote and Seat Breakdown
The Republican People’s Party (CHP) will have its number of deputies determined by the Supreme Election Board (YSK) when the final election results are announced. The number of deputies to be issued by the provinces was announced by the YSK in the past weeks. CHP, or Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi, is one of the main opposition parties in Turkey that participated in the recent general elections.
According to the current data announced, CHP is expected to elect 168 deputies. However, the exact number of deputies that CHP will get from each province has not yet been determined. This information will become clear after the announcement of the cut election results from YSK.
The number of deputies to be sent by each province to the Parliament have already been revealed by the YSK. Adana will send 15 deputies, whereas Adıyaman will only send 5. Antalya will send 17, whereas Artvin will only send 2. Istanbul will send the highest number of deputies at 98 followed by Ankara with 36 and Izmir with 28.
CHP is one of the largest parties in Turkey. Their detailed election results are eagerly awaited by their supporters and rivals. The party has been in opposition since 2002. In the recent elections, they were hoping to improve their performance and come to power. However, they were unable to overtake the ruling AK Party.
